Beginning Saturday, Heaven’s Basement have 4 dates in Holland. First one with Papa roach, then 3 with Black Stone Cherry.
With Sabra finishing her last exam on Wednesday, we decided to head over for all the gigs.

An all weekend festival style thing, with loads of bands playing over the 2 days.

What a fun night. Decadenze were only band on tonight and the gig didn’t start until 9.30pm, so we had time to sit and chill beforehand. Bonus for me was the pub sells Fentiman’s drinks….so lashings of Ginger Beer for me. That stuff has balls

With it being Download weekend, we decided we would have a Decadenze weekend instead…and so glad we did. We had 2 superb nights of ROCK from the guys.
Well I”d been quite excited about this gig as its the first we have been to in he NEW GasWorks in Bradford, its about as close as we get to a local gig!!

Its been nearly 18 months since we last saw our good friends FuryUK actually play a gig so my anticipation was huge for this especially as I’d not seen Blaze himself since Cumbria Rock 1991 … now 18 years IS a long time …
After 2 weeks of being ill and after sitting some of her GCSE’s we decided Sabra could have a night out.
So we all headed over to Wrexham for a gig.
After being stuck home since birthday gig. MrRob and myself headed down to Hallcross in Doncaster. Sabra, still ill and revising, stayed home 
Saturday May 2nd was my 40th birthday and we decided what better way to spend it than at a gig
I had some wacky pressies, some useful pressies and a few cards. MrRob presented me with a new lens, a better lens, more suitable for gigs woohoooo

Tonight was Corporation. I was unsure if I’d get any piccis tonight, we’ve been here before and for me the stage is way too high.
Excuse short, ramblings today. I haven’t had much sleep
A long day yesterday. We picked Anneloes up at airport at 10am…came home had lunch got ready for gig. THEN had to take Debbie back to the same airport for her flight home. Because it was a school night for Sabra and the gig was so far away, she and MrRob stayed home and watched Grand Prix from Sunday. So weird not to have them on the roadtrip. But it was great to spend some time with Anneloes…wish Debbie and Anna had still been here tho.
Well Mistress has instructed that I write a full blog on this gig as I was the one who was taking pictures while she “manned” the merch for HB … unfortunately she also offered to drive home leaving me able to sample the delights offered by the bar. I wouldn’t have said I was too badly effected but I think all my diminished concentration was fully used up taking pictures … I don’t recall much about the first act, Slash Vegas. Read into that what you will but I’d only had a pint before the played.
Last night took us to the brilliant Yardbirds in Grimsby. I bloody love this place, the atmosphere, the sound, the people all make for an amazing night of ROCK.
