Well, the trip over to catch Glyder started with a text message from MrRob enquiring if I knew that the Answer were playing in Belfast the night after the Glyder gig in Ballymena – didn’t take long for me to convince him that the fair people of the Diamond bar were………..nutters I think was my phrase 
and that we should do it.

Finally after over a month since our last gig, Sabra and myself headed over to Fibbers in York. Unfortunately we arrived a tad too early, hardly anyone in venue. So we sat for ages feeling like right tits hoping more people would turn up…..we needn’t have worried! Plenty of people arrived and Fibbers filled up nicely

We were supposed to be taking a night off from gigs, but the pull of seeing Heaven’s Basement again was too strong. So we headed off to Stoke
Everytime we come to Sugarmill, we have a great night and tonight was no exception.
First off huge apologies to New Device whose set we missed entirely thanks to the fact we didn’t realise doors were at 6pm until it was too late to make it up to Newcastle in time, through the thick fog masking the A1… and for not taking any piccies of Dear Superstar as we didn’t get photo passes till after your 3rd song. Thanks to Chris for running around and sorting us out.
What a great gig – happily Rob & Donna got online & blogged before me so I’ve got away without saying too much – except sorry to the first three bands, I’ve had a meltdown with one of storage cards I used so have only managed to salvage the Heaven’s Basement pics.
Sorry I’ve been a little slow getting the last few month’s piccies on line but I’ve got them on now!!

MrRob has written a fairly long blog so I’ll just add that Dear Superstar actually did it!! I enjoyed their set tonight, they seemed to have stepped it up a level. …..and they were great to photograph. Hope it was a taste of things to come
Hey! tiz MrRob here. I’ve just realised that it was September when I last blogged a gig. Although that was only a couple of weeks after the last saw the Basement guys it feels like a long, long time ago so it has been great to hook up with them for some of their headline shows which started for us in Fibbers, York on Saturday. For Fibbers I left the camera at home so I could stand at the back (sorta minding the merch) and take in the new “show”, new songs and most importantly new Rob. I was impressed with them all. As we keep saying the most impressive thing about this band is the way they keep improving.

Catching a early train to london, Sabra and myself were really looking forward to the gig and whatever the weekend would unveil.
Leadmill was a big, well little, surprise. It was the first intimate venue of the tour. Unfortunately I had to man the merch and I only snuck out to snap a few shots so Ive not got too much to say about this gig …
