Well, the trip over to catch Glyder started with a text message from MrRob enquiring if I knew that the Answer were playing in Belfast the night after the Glyder gig in Ballymena – didn’t take long for me to convince him that the fair people of the Diamond bar were………..nutters I think was my phrase 
and that we should do it.

Posted under Glyder, Pedro by PedroI had a great time this weekend, met up with Donna, Rob & Sabra to catch Heaven’s Basement in Wakefield on saturday, and spent sunday at Doncaster Pride but the whole weekend was kicked off by one of my highlights of the year – a quick trip over to Dublin to catch a Glyder gig.

Heaven’s Basement @ The Matrix, Bochum Sat 21st Feb 2009
Posted under Glyder, Heaven's Basement, Pedro by PedroThis was the best performance of the tour so far from my perspective, the venue at Bochum is great with a great backstage area and fantastic catering – all very important when a home cooked meal is a week in the distance. The hall is a long cellar and from the moment the guys rattled the first notes of Tear Your Heart Out the crowd rapidly filled the hall – leaving me the choice of elbowing through 50m of Germans……..so side of the stage it was

BitchinRockPhoto’s Spanish Tour……..we took Glyder too :)
Posted under BitchinRockPhotos.Com, Glyder, Pedro, Pictures by PedroHad a great time traveling all over Spain with these four guys and MrRob during the first two weeks of October……..After a few days break in Gijon looking for a rockbar the tour kicked off at the Savoy Club, and our first experrience of holding Spanish traffic up unloading (beep, beep,beep – they love their horns ) the band were great receiving chants of Glyder, Glyder, Glyder – FANTASTIC
