We were supposed to be taking a night off from gigs, but the pull of seeing Heaven’s Basement again was too strong. So we headed off to Stoke
Everytime we come to Sugarmill, we have a great night and tonight was no exception.

Heaven’s Basement, Dear Superstar, New Device & Whisky and Lace – Wrexham – Central Station – 7th December, 2009
Posted under Dear Superstar, Heaven's Basement, MrRob, New Device by MrRobHey! tiz MrRob here. I’ve just realised that it was September when I last blogged a gig. Although that was only a couple of weeks after the last saw the Basement guys it feels like a long, long time ago so it has been great to hook up with them for some of their headline shows which started for us in Fibbers, York on Saturday. For Fibbers I left the camera at home so I could stand at the back (sorta minding the merch) and take in the new “show”, new songs and most importantly new Rob. I was impressed with them all. As we keep saying the most impressive thing about this band is the way they keep improving.
