Well, the trip over to catch Glyder started with a text message from MrRob enquiring if I knew that the Answer were playing in Belfast the night after the Glyder gig in Ballymena – didn’t take long for me to convince him that the fair people of the Diamond bar were………..nutters I think was my phrase 
and that we should do it.
Another great night out at the Civic in Wolverhampton to watch Heaven’s Basement. This time around they were in a support slot for Medina Lake and headliners Papa Roach. Both of these were new bands to see for me and after a cracking set from HB I checked them out…….Madina Lake, nice hair, crap music, thought the headliners would make me feel the same way – however, great attitude, cracking rock gig.
Here’s some pics from Friday night @ Wulfren Hall – got to say that I’m not really happy with too many of them, between dirt on lens/sensor and screwing up trying to limit the high iso/noise shots leaving me with a lot of very dark images – just one of those nights when I wasn’t concentrating on photography enough.
Donna’s saved me the work of writing a blog for these pics but just wanted to add a big well done to Lynn & Mark and to all the bands who put a great gig on throughout the day.
Great to see the guys back at this venue again, only a few pics here as I struggle with light levels and the “flame” background here every time
As MrRob says, recieving a request for pics for a magazine is tricky…….neither of us used any form of flash during the tour, not even to fill in a little so picking your favourite shots and picking shots suitable for print can be two very different tasks.
Now I’m home from the HB tour I’ve had the chance to look back at all the posts made by both Rob and I and there is one common factor – very few of the people who have made kind comments about them either on here, by email, on numerous other sites would not have done so if it hadn’t been for the hard work of Donna.
This was the last gig of the tour, and the guys relished playing it on a bigger stage – it was just a shame that there weren’t more lovely swiss people in to see them.
At the end of Thunder’s set in Prattlein for their last ever European show they invited Heaven’s Basement on stage to do “Gimme all your loving” – the guys had a great time, this was testement to how much the Thunder guys think of them, Chris the Bass player sporting a Heaven’s Basement T-Shirt throughout their set.

Had a great time traveling all over Spain with these four guys and MrRob during the first two weeks of October……..After a few days break in Gijon looking for a rockbar the tour kicked off at the Savoy Club, and our first experrience of holding Spanish traffic up unloading (beep, beep,beep – they love their horns ) the band were great receiving chants of Glyder, Glyder, Glyder – FANTASTIC
Just a quick note to say that i can now blog strait from my phone so I should me able to keep up to date … Where ever we get to. B)
Sorry if youve been waiting for more news of our trip here on BRP but as some of you who may have been following the daily pictures I was posting on my personal MySpace and you will have seen we had a very busy time during the week we spent in Iceland so I didnt get the chance to update news here … incase you missed it (or dont venture on to MySpace) here is a brief diary of what we got up to will follow …

As seems to be traditional at this time of new year it is time for a change … so I have been working hard re-jigging the Bitchin Rock Photos website so that it looks fresher, with a new theme (by Net-Tec), and is easier to use … Pedro, Donna and I had never really expected it to grow so fast and it was getting a little crowded.
We arrived just after lunch and I grabbed another hours kip….
