Iceland Trip Day 5 – Perlan and Saga Museum (Reykjarvik)
Posted under Travel by MrRobSo after a great nights sleep (the girls were all sleeping by ten) we set off for Perlan, another of Reykjavik’s prominent attractions. The weather was looking changeable and the snow and ice on the pavements was even more treacherous as it started to turn to slush in the bitter rain that was falling intermittently.

We are in Iceland …
Posted under News, Ten Steps Away, Travel by MrRob… and what a fantastic flight we had! It left on time and the Iceland Express aircraft was the most comfortable I have been on with what felt like a yard of legroom. I think this is the perfect length of flight
too 2 hours 40 mins … just long enough to get into some great music (mostly Icelandic rock) on the iPod … at Stansted I’d acquired some great sounding and very comfy Shire in-ear headphones too (my iPod in-ears hace given up now … some 6 months after going through the washing machine) which kept me cocooned in my own "Noise"y world

Waiting at Stansted ….
Posted under News, Travel by MrRobStaying over at a hotel was great. We got up had breakfast and got on the shuttle but to the terminal … The car stays at the hotel till we return Easy and stressless 8)There were a load of schoolkids in front of us at checkin and we got into a “discussion” when their teacher ordered some of thier straggelers to pass us and check in before us. Without even asking us. Im not happy with the example that givs to her cids but the reacton she gave Donna when she queeried her actions was unfogiveable … im just glad my kids are not in her charge!Any way we’re coffeed up and waiting and shopping now … Co-codamol is still working fine

Ready For The Off?? Just!
Posted under News, Travel by MrRobOk .. yesterday I cleaned the house windows, cars, camper and was just finishing off the trailer and my shoulder whent “POP” as it dose when ever I forget I dislocated it 6 years ago … fekk it hurt ! what a stoopid thing to do the day before we go to Iceland … ODD thing was That Sabra’s tooth exploded at EXACTLY the same time … was were both running about looking for Donna/Mum to get some sympathy …
