Miss Bobbi, Larry and Gill’s visit to see Heaven’s Basement

The past couple of days have gone by so fast. It’s all a blur

Leaving MrRob behind with his ‘twanged’ back, Sabra and myself made the long journey over to Holywell. Beautiful drive over, but as we entered Wales, neither of us saw any signs for Holywell.
For Sabra’s 16th birthday she wanted to head down to Norfolk to spend some time with the Decadenze guys. They had 2 gigs lined up. First one at Brickmakers in Norwich and 2nd one in The Lady of The Lake, Lowestoft.

2 of my favourite bands all in one night. Who could ask for more

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending SOS Fest at Radcliffe Civic. Starting at 2pm and going on until late, loads of great bands on, something to please everyone.
Donna’s saved me the work of writing a blog for these pics
but just wanted to add a big well done to Lynn & Mark and to all the bands who put a great gig on throughout the day.
Last night we decided to make the 2 hour drive over to Pentre, Queensferry. Decadenze had no idea we were coming to the gig, so it was good to surprise them again…with ourselves and some panties
not for us, for the band
A free event in Oswestry, which in previous years was held in the park. But this year was held in Town Square, with no-where to sit and chill. BUT we had a great day (Sabra and myself).
Great day spent with friends and some great music from Decadenze, Queensbury and Fury UK.
Driving home from Holland, we thought it crazy going all the way home and then back down to Northampton. So we stayed at a very nice Premier Inn. The guys didn’t know we were coming to the gig, it was actually Sabra’s prom night, but she chose not to go. Timing and not really being a ‘prom’ kind of girl, she decided she would rather spend her time with Decadenze
OK so Donna’s blog has covered the trip so I’ll stick to my continuing saga of getting used to working with my new EOS5D MkII … so just skip to the piccies if you don’t wanna be bored to death …
Beginning Saturday, Heaven’s Basement have 4 dates in Holland. First one with Papa roach, then 3 with Black Stone Cherry.
With Sabra finishing her last exam on Wednesday, we decided to head over for all the gigs.
