Today didnt start too well as we got a parking ticket in Southampton as I ran into London Camera Exchange to grab a new bag to replace the one that disintegrated in Cardiff (Im staying away from Lowpro now) then we got an awful dinner in a pub … how can someone muck up an all day breakfast ??
So it was a slightly down-trodden MrRob that arrived at The Brook … but what a great venue, Id been here at the start of the Wildhearts/Sign tour but Id forgotten what a cool place it is …
Soundcheck went well as I sat on the balcony and soaked you the vibe of the empty venue …
The gig went very well but oddly the sound in the Brook is terrible right in front of the stage … the regulars know this and hang back a little giving plenty of room for photographers to work in the “dead zone” with out need of a barrier … cool. Sound is great further back and upstairs.
Cant believe this is the secomd last night of the tour with only London left … Im hoping I can sort parking for the Van tomorow … I dont wanna miss it ….
