On road with Theory Of A Deadman and The Crave … Day 2, Glasgow, Feb 23, 2012

After a great night’s sleep at Annandale Waters, I took Boo for her morning walk around the lake. Think they may have had a lot of rain recently, the footpath was thick with lake mud. Thinking I’d make use of puddle to clean boots, stepped in only to be sucked into ‘Glastonbury Fest’ mud !
Breakfast, coffee and on our way to Glasgow. Along the way rain started up and by the time we got to Glasgow, it was blowing a gale outside. People clutching on to their hats and coats as they struggled against the wind.
We had a sneaky shopping trip before we headed to venue. Managed to grab a pair of ‘black’ jeans, rather than the washed out grey 
Glasgow is a city of many eras, stunning churches and Uni buildings everywhere you looked… A mixture of old, with the new and the new builds going on all around
….and driving around for best of 40 mins to park, I can tell you, we saw those buildings several times
MrRob sat with van for while until didn’t have to feed meter or worry about taking up 2 spaces with our beast of a van
When Sabra and I got in venue, it was chaos, load in hadn’t long happened and being a Uni, there were still students everywhere. Which meant we couldn’t set up until they’d all left. Harry was busy with soundcheck and copius other jobs and we didn’t have long until doors….the TOAD merch boxes were all still stacked in the venue and everyone was busy. Soooooo I grabbed the trolley an got on with sorting mech for night….but in process I broke my lovely £3 Casio No worries, I’ll grab something ‘cheap’ tomorrow. (I always break watches)
We had use of the ‘coffee lounge’ for merch, which meant we had loads of room and plenty of light…..but meant we wouldn’t see gig tonight 
Sounded great though and the crowd were brilliant. Sold copius amounts of merch.
Back to Annandale for night.
