On road with Theory Of A Deadman and The Crave … Day 3, Feb 24th 2012

Another good nights sleep in the cosy Bitchin Rock Van. Boo walked and fed, time for Costa coffee for breakfast. Managed to grab a watch’ for a fiver in the services. It’s very large and very pink, but it tells the time and that’s all I need for now 
On the road again. Manchester bound. BUT the coffee didn’t work, we’re all still tired So a quick stop at Starbucks and an extra shot later, we’re on our way 
Driving along, car in front drives over something in road. As it flew through air and wrapped itself around our ariel, we realised it was a white garbage bag. It fluttered and smacked itself against the van, bending the aeriel and just getting in the way. Being on a motorway and not much of hard shoulder, we had to pull off on slip road. MrRob removed the offending article and we back on the road.
Managed to find a carpark couple of minutes walk away, but we were running late…..well late for us anyway. No need to worry, Harry was in middle of counting out merch for tonights proceedings, so we got on with display.

Tonight we’re in the main room of Ritz. A beautiful old theatre, with a great view of stage. BUT man was it loud. Even with earplugs in, I ended up with ringing ears in bed later. MrRob perched himself on a stool at end of merch and snapped away from there.
Opening tonight were the lovely theFallen from York. A blinding set from the guys and a great response from crowd. Their Eps were snapped up. Shame they didn’t have more to sell

The Crave were on fire. They just get better and better. Wasn’t sure if they’d blown Ryan up at one point though, He seemed to disappear in a puff of smoke (then I realised it was dry ice and all was cool, he’d just bent over to throw a pick or something lol )

Merch all counted, money handed over to Harry…..goodbyes said to several people, time to head back to Bitchin Rock Cottage for couple of nights in our own bed and a day off tomorrow woohoo
Not so much a day off, but a day to get some new merch signs etc printed. I have been busy….but with a broken laminator, I had to resort to ironing the laminate pouches on to the signs
