Wed 8th April
Early start today….showers, breakfast, then on to Aberdeen to pick up the guys. Onwards to Nairn for lunch with the lovely Katie, her girls and Mindy . Katie Treated the guys to some lovely home cooking, whisky and shortbread. ….she spoiled us all. All was very much appreciated….
Bess was so happy, she got time to run around Katie’s garden and had another doggy friend to chat with.
Thank you Katie and Mindy and the girls for everything.
On to Inverness for tonight’s gig.
Wed 8th April Madhatters
Cool venue, above a Celidah bar. The stage was tiny and the room very dark and atmospheric. The ceiling and walls were decked out in camo netting and leaves
I managed to sort out the merch and get it ready for the show…..then had enough time to sit and get Aberdeen’s picci and blog onine. (We had no phone service or internet at campsite)
Sid’s parents surprised us all by driving up for the gigs and to travel around Scotland…..and who can blame them, it is stunning.. Was good to see them. Also meant we had even more people to take piccis and capture the gigs
Katie arrived along with her husband and the lovely Mindy .
First on tonight were Stolen Order

Heaven’s Basement
Sabra got down to the front with Katie and Mindy ..ready for the gig. They both seemed a little overexcited 
Room was so dark, you could feel the anticipation in the air
I stood back on merch box to attempt a few shots (it was MrRob’s turn down front)…but it was just too dark BUT there were plenty of us in taking piccis tonight, MrRob, Sid’s parents, I think Katie had a camera out, so there will be piccis out there somewhere
Aww bless, MrRob came over to merch so I could go down front. Of course I took me camera and took a few piccis while I was there.
Fan bloody tastic gig. Nowhere near as manic as Aberdeen (that was special)….but a fantastic, responsive crowd here tonight. Great atmosphere and I was sad when it ended, was all over way too soon
Packed up the trailer, said our goodbyes to the guys for the night and headed off to our campsite ..just down the road from Culloden battlefied.
